Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Bourbonnais, IL is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships within the assigned territory. You will pursue new customers, manage key accounts, and coordinate territory activities with support from our team.

Expect a comprehensive training program during the first 90 days, including e-learning, classroom sessions, role-plays, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers within the assigned territory and developing sales strategies.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships through visits and business reviews.
• Manage sales territory, coordinate visits, and communicate order status and updates.
