Job summary

Gordon Food Service invites you to join our Outside Food Sales team covering the Bloomington area. You will manage relationships with existing customers, pursue new business, and drive sales across your territory with bundled compensation including salary, commission, and bonuses.

You will participate in extensive onboarding and field training to master our products and systems, while building long-term partnerships with restaurants and food service clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers: research industry trends, identify prospects, and develop sales strategies.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships through visits and business reviews.
• Sales territory management: coordinate visits and communicate order status to customers.
• Sales training: participate in onboarding to learn systems, processes and products.
