Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and deliver innovative solutions within your assigned territory. You will drive sales, manage accounts, and provide training on products and services to customers.

Responsibilities include pursuing new customers, deepening existing relationships, and coordinating visits while balancing territory growth with service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers: research industry trends and identify prospects within your territory.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular visits and business reviews.
• Provide ongoing training on Gordon Food Service products and services to customers.
• Manage your sales territory by balancing new acquisitions with existing relationships.
• Coordinate visits and communicate order status to customers.
