JMJ Phillip Group seeks a Territory Sales Representative to manage sales and service of material handling equipment within the Phoenix, AZ region. You will build strong customer relationships across industries while traveling regularly to cover your territory.

This role requires overnight travel and a high degree of autonomy, with on-site demonstrations and proactive account management to grow the customer base.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in field-based, customer-facing roles such as service or route sales.
• Overnight travel required as part of regular territory coverage.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with hardware/equipment and basic mechanical concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and aptitude to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel across an assigned territory on a structured weekly schedule, including overnight travel.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, providing product support, inspections, and service recommendations.
• Perform basic inspection, troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance or repairs.
• Grow and manage an established customer base while identifying new opportunities.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations and explain solutions based on customer needs.
• Support sales through relationship-building, quoting, follow-up, and account management.
• Maintain documentation of visits, opportunities, and territory activity.
• Manage company vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment.
• Participate in training on products, safety, and best practices.
• Submit weekly activity reports and expense documentation.
