Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Territory Manager to build and manage a portfolio of customers shipping freight via LTL.

You will qualify leads, uncover needs, position our service-based value proposition, and manage accounts through successful conversion and long-term retention. You will work within a structured sales process, using CRM and mobile tech to manage 50+ relationships across stages, with a target revenue growth and a need to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse individuals.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in LTL/logistics/transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Qualify 25+ inbound leads per week using structured discovery process.
• Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand shipping needs and requirements.
• Position value proposition vs price-only competitors.
• Manage 3-week conversion with follow-up and proactive engagement.
• Maintain 50+ retained customer relationships with consistent touchpoints.
• Use CRM daily to track activities, opportunities and interactions.
• Coordinate with operations and service teams to resolve issues.
• Travel within assigned territory to develop new business and service accounts.
