Job summary

Acosta Sales & Marketing in Memphis, TN is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive in-store sales by visiting assigned independent stores, presenting products, and securing item authorizations.

You will work independently and with client partners, build relationships with store teams, coordinate promotions and turnover orders, and participate in merchandising tasks. A high school diploma and 2+ years retail experience are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior retail experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores each month to execute sales priorities.
• Present and secure orders for new items from clients.
• Sell promotions and arrange off-shelf displays when possible.
• Verify product distribution and ensure authorized items are merchandised.
• Assist with merchandising tasks like stocking and planogram adherence.
• Coordinate store events and promotions.
• Maintain product knowledge and build rapport with store staff.
• Report store issues and market insights to leadership.
