Job summary

Acosta Sales & Marketing is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales by visiting assigned independent stores, presenting and selling products, and coordinating promotions and events in the Indianapolis area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with store teams and client partners. This role requires occasional overnight travel and comfortable working in cold environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior retail experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores in the territory each month to execute sales priorities.
• Present and secure orders for new items for clients.
• Sell in promotional activities and secure off-shelf displays when possible.
• Verify product distribution and ensure authorized items are carried and merchandised.
• Assist merchandising tasks such as stocking, rotation, display maintenance, pricing, and planogram adherence.
• Coordinate and support store events, including demos, anniversary sales, new store openings, and remodels.
