Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a results-driven sales professional to expand territory sales and profitability. You will call on new and existing customers, plan strategically, and pursue additional opportunities in current and new product lines.

The role requires overnight travel, effective use of CRM, and timely submission of expenses and reports. A Bachelor’s degree or college experience is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and 1+ year of outside B2B sales experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an outside sales rep selling business to business.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years).
• CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Use pre-call planning and market information to maximize opportunities.
• Communicate orders and quotes to Customer Service and prepare proposals and reports.
