Job summary

Wallace Metal Products Inc in Pittsburgh seeks an energetic outside sales professional to develop a profitable territory of new accounts through relationship-based contact, visits, referrals, industry guides, trade shows, and quotation follow-up.

The ideal candidate will grow existing accounts, travel daily with occasional overnight stays, and complete daily call and expense reports; benefits include health, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, profit-sharing, and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of relationship-based sales, territory building and prospecting.
• 3+ years outside sales in metals distribution or manufacturing.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Willing to travel daily with occasional overnight stays.
• Completion of daily call reports and expense reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop a profitable territory of new accounts through relationship-based customer contact, via cold calling/visits, referrals from existing customers, industry guides, trade shows, and quotation follow-up.
• Foster and grow existing accounts to assess further potential, via visits & quotation follow-up.
• Daily travel with occasional overnight stays.
• Completion of daily call reports and expense reports.
