Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Field Account Representative (FAR) in a hybrid role. You will manage approximately 85 existing medium-sized customers with an annual portfolio value around $2 million and conduct face-to-face meetings within your territory.

You will build territory and account plans, leverage Grainger's Value Proposition, and collaborate with internal resources to deliver timely meetings and drive sales growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Ability to travel with occasional overnights
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Create territory plan to assess and prioritize customer needs while meeting targets.
• Build and execute account plans to grow all customers and increase contacts.
• Leverage technology and resources to plan for valuable customer meetings.
• Maintain an active pipeline and negotiate to balance customer satisfaction with profitability.
• Use CRM to prioritize leads and manage opportunities and track progress.
• Expand customer contacts to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Use multiple channels to increase sales and provide real-time solutions.
