Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Salem, OR to identify and develop business relationships within the assigned territory. The role focuses on generating revenue for the branch through on-site visits, networking, and strategic sales planning.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial/heavy equipment markets and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Expect a competitive compensation package with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial market or heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond considering market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate strategic accounts to diversify the customer base.
• Support all team members.
