Job summary

Cofense seeks a high-performing Account Executive to own the South Central Texas territory for its phishing detection and response platform suite—PhishMe, Triage, Vision, Intelligence, and Managed PDR.

You will self-source pipeline, run full-cycle deals from first meeting to close, and collaborate with regional partners; the role demands a proven B2B tech or SaaS sales track record and the ability to build a public presence in security buyer communities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of account executive experience plus 18 months as a top-quartile SDR/BDR in B2B tech or SaaS.
• Proven outbound results; able to talk about meetings booked and pipeline sourced.
• Ability to create demand via audience building (LinkedIn presence, newsletter, community, podcast).
• Tech savvy; comfortable discussing email security and running a demo environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a territory plan with named accounts and partner coverage.
• Self-source pipeline via outbound, social, events, and partner relationships; majority self-generated.
• Run discovery, coordinate technical evaluations with sales engineering, close deals in five-to-low-six-figure range.
• Build a public presence in the security buyer community; engage with CISOs and security professionals.
