Model 1 Commercial Vehicles in Sayreville, NJ is seeking a driven Commercial Business Development Manager to promote and sell our commercial and specialty vehicles within a defined territory. You will aim to hit sales targets, identify potential customers, and develop strategic plans to grow the business.

You will conduct market research, demo vehicles, manage a robust sales pipeline, and collaborate with the RVP and marketing to execute campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of proven B2B territory sales experience in a commercial vehicle context.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to build a sales territory from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive commercial vehicle sales within the territory.
• Identify and target potential customers, including businesses, contractors, and fleet owners.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activity.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with qualified leads.
• Collaborate with RVP and marketing to create promotional campaigns.
• Perform field-based product demonstrations and on-site vehicle presentations.
