Job summary

Vert Environmental is hiring experienced Outside Sales Representatives across Southern California to grow new business in assigned territories. This is a true hunter role, with about 90% field time, selling environmental testing services to property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, and other commercial clients.

You'll own your territory from prospecting through close, building relationships and turning opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications

• Track record of generating new business and hitting targets.
• Able to build a territory from the ground up.
• Willing to spend most time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Own the territory from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage pipeline through outbound prospecting.
• Spend ~90% of time in the field meeting prospects.
• Visit offices and job-sites, cold calls, and in-person introductions.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, real estate professionals, insurance contacts, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify new opportunities and turn prospects into long-term clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Become a trusted resource for environmental testing services including asbestos, mold, lead, bacteria, and more.
• Grow existing accounts and identify repeat and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and activity in the CRM.
