Job summary

Vert Environmental, a California environmental testing company, is seeking experienced Outside Sales Representatives to grow new business across Southern California. This hunter role requires 90% field time, prospecting and developing territory with environmental testing services for commercial clients.

You will own your territory from prospecting through close, build a robust pipeline, and develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, and other key decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales hunter with a track record of generating new business and meeting targets.
• Able to build a territory from the ground up and own the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Comfortable with high-volume field activity and face-to-face selling.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CRM experience a plus (Salesforce/HubSpot).

Responsibilities

• Own your territory from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage your pipeline with outbound prospecting.
• Conduct office and on-site visits, cold calls, and in-person introductions.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, GC, restoration and real estate professionals, insurers, and other decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Manage full sales cycle from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Explain environmental testing services (asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, etc.).
• Grow existing accounts and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain organized pipeline and CRM activity.
