Job summary

Vert Environmental is seeking experienced Outside Sales Representatives to grow new business across Southern California. You will own your territory and drive the full sales cycle, with roughly 90% of time spent in the field meeting prospects, building relationships, and delivering environmental testing services.

The role offers a base salary of 70,000–90,000 with uncapped 3% monthly commission and six-figure earning potential, plus a company vehicle, benefits, 401(k), and vacation/sick time.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate new business and hit sales targets.
• Experience building a territory from the ground up.
• Comfort with cold prospecting and in-person sales.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage your pipeline through outbound prospecting.
• Spend most time in the field meeting prospects and developing relationships.
• Make office and job-site visits, cold calls, and in-person introductions.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, and other decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Grow existing accounts and identify repeat and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline in the CRM.
