Job summary

Vert Environmental is hiring experienced Outside Sales Representatives across Southern California to grow new business in assigned territories. This hunter role requires spending about 90% of time in the field meeting prospects and developing relationships to sell environmental testing services.

You’ll own your territory from prospecting through close, building a strong pipeline and closing deals with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, and other commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.
• Ability to build and manage a territory from scratch.
• Comfort with cold prospecting, face-to-face selling, and opening new accounts.
• Experience using a CRM to track opportunities and activity.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage your pipeline with outbound prospecting.
• Conduct office and field visits, cold calls, and in-person introductions.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Identify new opportunities and convert them into long-term clients.
• Manage full sales cycle from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Serve as a trusted resource for environmental testing services.
