Job summary

Cherokee Building Materials, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking an Outside Sales professional to manage all sales activities from lead generation through close within a defined territory.

You will develop and execute the Company Marketing Plan, build long-term customer relationships, provide product knowledge of drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems and related accessories, and aim for customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills and Excel proficiency.
• 3–5 years of sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Excel experience recommended.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all steps of the sales process from prospecting to close in the assigned territory.
• Identify opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pricing; gather market data.
