Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Territory Representative to cover Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. You will act as an ambassador, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with cabinet makers and other customers through face-to-face interactions in the field.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is a must.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and detail oriented.
• Willing to work independently; always team focused.
• Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
• Educate customers on how products can benefit them financially and professionally.
• Sell the company's products to customers within given territory.
• Monitor competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Answer inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Follow-up calls to customers regarding order status.
• Listen and understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
• Cross-sell or up-sell products to increase purchase amounts.
• Respond to inquiries and/or complaints courteously and swiftly.
• Other duties as assigned.
