Job summary

Johnson Brothers is looking for a Sales Consultant to service the Indianapolis, IN area and surrounding communities. You will build customer relationships, share product knowledge, and drive tastings and promotions in the beverage category.

The role emphasizes territory management, merchandising, and servicing accounts to meet and exceed sales goals. A BA/BS degree and a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance are required, with route-sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Passion for selling; highly driven, motivated and enthusiastic.
• Ultimate focus on our customers and our business.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record – REQUIRED.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance - REQUIRED.
• Communication skills need to be articulate, clear and concise.
• Prefer some route sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Consistently be in contact with customers; handle issues promptly.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives; make effective sales presentations.
• Search out and nurture new accounts.
• Meet and exceed sales goals; drive business growth.
• Merchandising: focus on display size/location, shelf standards, etc.
• Inventory checks and minimizing ordering mistakes.
