Job summary

Glazer's Beer and Beverage in Victoria, TX is seeking a Sales Representative to maximize the sale of supplier brands through territory planning, selling, and communication that aligns with company objectives. You will make regular sales calls to off-premise accounts to cultivate customer relations and ensure service satisfaction.

Key qualifications include an Associate degree with sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel overnight.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 6 months to 2 years of sales experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to secure a State Sales Permit.
• Must be 21 or older with required auto liability and property damage insurance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to travel overnight.
• Proficient in calculating commissions and analyzing sales data.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
• Research, organize and present sales reports and quota attainment results.
• Provide sales account management support; analyze current and historical sales activity for assigned territory or accounts to identify opportunities and meet quotas.
• Recommend and create programs utilizing full knowledge of the supplier’s portfolio.
• Provide first line of customer support and address dissatisfaction; move to resolution.
• Assess customer needs and adhere to selling processes and policies.
• Participate in sales projects, proposals and presentations.
• Ensure order information is captured accurately in the sales system.
• Understand product assortment and assist with space planning and POS materials.
• Recognize major market trends and discuss company position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
