Job summary

L&M Office Furniture is seeking a motivated Account Manager to develop and manage business across Western Oklahoma. The role emphasizes relationship-building, cold outreach, and consultative sales to identify opportunities and deliver tailored furniture solutions.

Commercial furniture experience is not required; training and hands-on product learning are provided. The successful candidate will travel within the territory and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet growth targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management or outside sales.
• Proven ability to prospect and cold call.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel throughout Western Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue prospects in Western Oklahoma.
• Generate new business via cold calls, emails, networking, referrals, and visits.
• Develop relationships with businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, government entities, architects, designers, contractors, and others.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Meet with customers to understand needs, budgets, and goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft furniture/workspace solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and product recommendations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers through the process.
• Coordinate with design, project-management, operations, delivery and installation teams.
• Manage existing accounts and identify new project opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activities and opportunities.
• Follow up on leads and proposals.
• Aim to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Represent L&M professionally in Western Oklahoma.
