Job summary

Midvale Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Account Manager/Technical Sales person to design and execute a sales strategy across our territory, serving existing customers and prospects from sale to implementation.

You will build trusted advisor relationships, qualify needs, expand product penetration, and stay current on our products, pricing, and applications. Travel is required to cover assigned locations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Interest in industrial processes and sales.
• Customer focus; results driven.
• Willing to travel; valid driver's license.
• CRM and/or database management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts through strong relationships; develop a trusted advisor; stay connected.
• Use tools to prospect and qualify the needs of an account and develop the relationship.
• Use resources to gain product knowledge, processes and applications.
• Increase product penetration in existing accounts; promote and introduce new products.
• Know competitors, products, pricing, and marketing strategies.
• Maintain historical customer records: contacts, projects, targets, goals, forecasts.
• Ongoing review of financial targets and assessments.
• Assist with annual inventory.
