Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager to oversee blood drive accounts in the Myrtle Beach area. You will collaborate with the Donor Resources team to reach collection goals, maximize sponsor relationships, and plan campaigns that boost donor participation at community events.

This role emphasizes external outreach, accurate projections, and coordination with sponsor groups, donors, and volunteers to drive successful drives and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Outside sales/marketing experience of 2 years preferred or related experience.
• Public Speaking necesary to convey the mission to community groups.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor groups to achieve territory blood collection goals.
• Establishes blood drive projections in line with divisional resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations with sponsor groups to teach donor recruitment techniques.
• Provide superior customer service to blood donors, groups, and internal/external customers.
