Job summary

PPG Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking an Account Development Manager to grow sales across PPG Paints stores and develop new accounts in the industrial segment. This on-site role reports to the Regional Manager and requires daily travel within the territory.

You will build account plans, leverage CRM for insights, and collaborate with store teams to maximize growth and margins in line with pricing strategies. Strong customer service and a business background are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 3+ years of sales experience and strong customer service.
• Higher-level education degree in a business-related field preferred.
• CRM experience is preferred; coatings or industrial sales background highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service for existing accounts and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop account plans and sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Use CRM to manage accounts, call logs, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with store managers to meet or exceed customer needs.
• Provide accurate customer quotes aligned with pricing strategies.
