Job summary

PPG Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking an Account Development Manager to grow sales by expanding existing accounts and developing new industrial segment opportunities. You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite in the Dallas market, driving customer service and profitability.

The role requires strong sales experience, CRM familiarity, and the ability to travel within the territory with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years of sales experience and strong customer service aptitude.
• CRM experience preferred; coatings industry experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel daily in the assigned territory and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to existing accounts and grow opportunities by staying current with promotions and products.
• Develop account planning strategies, identify sales opportunities, and assess accounts with growth potential.
• Use CRM to maintain call logs, contact information, and run reports.
• Collaborate with store managers and employees to meet customer needs.
• Prepare accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets per pricing strategies.
