Job summary

PPG Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking an Account Development Manager to grow sales across PPG Paints stores and develop new accounts in the industrial segment. This on-site role reports to the Regional Manager and requires daily travel within the territory.

You will build account plans, leverage CRM for insights, and collaborate with store teams to maximize growth and margins in line with pricing strategies. Strong customer service and a business background are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 3+ years of sales experience and strong customer service.
• Higher-level education degree in a business-related field preferred.
• CRM experience is preferred; coatings or industrial sales background highly valued.

Full job description PPG Industries Dallas, TX, United States of America As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts within the industrial segment. You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite based in the Dallas, TX market.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.
• Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
• Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
• Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met or exceeded.
• Facilitate and accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with PPG pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 3+ years of previous sales experience with stellar customer service acuity, Higher-level education degree in a business-related field.
• CRM software experience preferred while previous coatings experience is highly sought after.
• Daily travel within your assigned territory; must possess valid driver's license.
