Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Phoenix is seeking a Terminal Supervisor to lead a loaders team for complex transloading, heating, and transportation of chemicals and materials. You will ensure daily/weekly tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

You will supervise drivers, train staff on SOPs, review timecards, and manage cost controls while maintaining compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FRA regulations; you will coordinate equipment maintenance and support new business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and safety culture required.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making for operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and dashboards.
• Able to train staff on procedures and safety rules.
• Good verbal and written communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for transloading, heating, and transportation.
• Motivate the team to be high performing and safe.
• Review and approve daily timecards and monitor overtime.
• Communicate information across departments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FRA and safety initiatives.
• Educate and train team members on procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and scheduling.
• Manage purchasing and inventory of consumables.
• Collaborate with other departments on new business.
• Conduct safety meetings and report daily efficiency.
• Back up Terminal Coordinator as needed.
• Prepare and present efficiency reports.
