Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Transportation Operations Supervisor to oversee regional operations, safety, and driver performance. You will supervise drivers, manage staff development, and engage customers to foster growth within a defined geographic area.

The role emphasizes incident-free deliveries, compliance with regulations, and optimizing asset utilization through proactive coaching and performance forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the companys safety programs and objectives.
• Monitor hours of service for drivers; maintain compliance with all company and government regulations and policies.
• Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load.
• Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel.
• Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet expense and financial forecast.
• Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships.
• Ensure maximum asset utilization.
