Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of LTL Industry, DOT, OSHA, Hazardous Materials, NMFC and Tariff Rules and company policies.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of the service center operation for profitable results.
• Staff actions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Assist account managers in identifying, acquiring, and retaining customers.
• Prepare action plans to meet productivity and service goals.
• Ensure safety, security, and loss prevention procedures per guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe facility and equipment.
• Submit financial and operational reports and plans as directed.
• Enforce service center work instructions and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.
