Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead dock operations and drive performance across our terminal. You will hire, coach, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and efficiency in loading, unloading, and palletized freight.

Ideal candidates bring prior LTL management experience, strong leadership, and a customer-first mindset. The role requires a 50-hour week on average with a competitive salary and bonus potential, reflecting our growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior LTL management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Customer-focused with service excellence mindset.
• High aptitude for technology.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work 50 hours/week average.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations at the terminal.
• Manage loading/unloading freight and forklift traffic.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff.
• Provide leadership to a team of drivers and dock workers.
• Monitor dock production and KPI goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment per DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure company operational model compliance.
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase.
