Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Manager to oversee the Fort Collins Terminal, ensuring safe, efficient rail and truck unloading, cement storage, inventory control, and maintenance. You will provide day-to-day leadership to terminal staff and contractors, aligning operations with Amrize standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

This role requires 3+ years in operations, strong supervisory experience, and the ability to manage budgets and develop teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in operations or maintenance in heavy industrial environments.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or lead experience required.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead terminal activities with a focus on safety, operations, and service.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate terminal employees and contractors.
• Develop and manage the terminal operating budget and cost controls.
• Oversee inbound/outbound railcars and trucks, cement storage, and inventory.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate with Sales/Logistics.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Sales, Operations, Maintenance, and carriers.
• Participate in recruitment and performance management of staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
