Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate a cement distribution terminal in North America. The role involves hands-on operation of terminal equipment, fuel for bulk trucks and railcars, and maintaining safety and quality.

You will work in a small cross-functional team with emphasis on health, safety, and customer service. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you will perform routine maintenance, clerical duties, and ensure accurate recording of shipments while following all safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or better.
• Related industry experience preferred.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks correctly, provide legal weights and proper product for customer delivery/pick-up.
• Perform routine maintenance on terminal property and equipment; keep the terminal clean and presentable.
• Perform clerical functions for recording receipts, shipments and inventory.
• Unload railcars and transfer product into silos; sample and test products received and shipped.
• Wear respirator and full body harness and other PPE as required.
• Maintain high safety, quality and customer service standards; operate without supervision.
