Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Manager to operate the Vancouver cement terminal with a focus on safety, efficiency, sustainability, and quality. Lead terminal employees to meet sales and distribution goals while upholding the company’s safety standards.

You will drive productivity, manage the budget, and foster strong customer relationships to ensure reliable service and sustainable growth across North America.

Qualifications

• Education at college diploma or university degree; exceptional and proven experience may substitute for formal or different education.
• Field of Study preferred: Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
• Project experience.
• Logistics background or cement / concrete is an asset.
• Experience in construction materials, rail, trucking, or distribution industry is an asset.
• Adhere to safety protocols and correct PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by ensuring all terminal operations meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Optimize terminal efficiency by improving productivity and minimizing downtime.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive and reliable service delivery.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Effectively manage the terminal budget and control operational costs.
• Support long-term growth and adaptability through strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure equipment and facility reliability via preventive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.
