Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. Fort Collins seeks a Terminal Manager to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the Fort Collins Terminal, including rail and truck unloading, cement storage, distribution, inventory management, maintenance, and overall terminal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in an operations or maintenance role within heavy industrial environments such as cement, concrete, aggregates, bulk materials, or transportation.
• 1–3 years of supervisory, Terminal Manager-in-Training, lead, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
• 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a light or heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial operations, equipment, preventive maintenance, and safe work practices.
• Travel Requirements: 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead all terminal activities with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, environmental compliance, quality, and customer service.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently in accordance with Amrize policies and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices and addressing hazards.
• Lead, coach, train, develop, and evaluate terminal employees to build capability and performance.
• Develop employees and training plans for terminal operators.
• Manage contractor activities and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Develop and manage the terminal operating budget aligned with costs and volumes.
• Oversee receipt/ unloading of railcars and trucks, cement storage, and loading of customer trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate data to Sales and Logistics.
• Monitor inventory levels and develop contingency plans for shortages.
• Implement preventive and periodic maintenance programs for terminal equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and address equipment issues to ensure reliability.
• Develop and enforce terminal SOPs and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, costs, and housekeeping.
