Terminal Data Ops Specialist — Tier 1 Support

Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks a data support specialist to maintain Toptech TAS data, provide frontline Tier 1 support to terminals and customers, and assist Tier 2. Responsibilities include data entry for suppliers, customers, accounts, EDIs, and products, plus testing TAS versions and supporting operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT or Business (or equivalent), 2–5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiar with interfacing systems and organizations.
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
• Effective in communicating, coordinating and implementing changes with strong customer service.
• Strong business computer skills and the ability to learn multiple software packages; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to be on call 24x7 and provide after-hours support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer focused.
• Demonstrated time and project management skills.
• Ability to re-prioritize workload when necessary.
• Understanding of computers and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain new data such as suppliers, customers, accounts, EDIs, and product records in TAS.
• Provide frontline (Tier 1) support and troubleshooting to terminals and customers regarding Toptech issues.
• Provide data and assistance to Tier 2 support to resolve Toptech issues.
• Assist in maintaining the department email mailbox.
• Work with Terminal Operations to provide information related to accounts, drivers, and carriers for investigations.
• Create and maintain customer account files and contracts.
• Conduct testing on new TAS versions deployed by Tier 2 support.
• Assist in special projects; create PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets.
• Backfill for other Data Operations personnel during vacations or illness.
