Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Customer Tech Support Specialist in Dahlgren, VA. You will install, configure, and maintain operating systems and related hardware and software, and provide end-user support across the enterprise.

You will handle accounts and access rights, create SOPs, maintain backups, and research new technologies to inform future system purchases. Effective written and verbal communication is essential, with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional experience with desktop OS, hardware and peripherals.
• Experience handling technical telephone inquiries and on-site employee support.
• Must have Secret clearance or higher depending on contract requirements.
• IAT II (Security+) designation is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain operating systems.
• Manage system fixes, updates and enhancements; test and troubleshoot performance of hardware/software.
• Provide end-user support and manage accounts and access rights.
• Create and maintain documentation and SOPs; maintain backups and restoration of systems/files.
• Research new technologies and offer input for future systems and purchases.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; perform other duties as assigned.
