Michaels in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer experiences across front-end, service, and operations. You will coach staff, uphold brand standards, and drive key sales and service KPIs through effective leadership.

The role covers POS and Self-Checkout, loyalty programs, protection plans, Omni-channel goals like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, and events in-store.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and coaching skills.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations with sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and program adherence.
• Ensure policy execution and accountability for store conditions and results.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
• Oversee balloons, parties, and in-store events.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and protection plans.
• Drive omni-channel order fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train and develop team with TM onboarding.
• Support Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
• Other duties as assigned.
