Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Turn Help/Maintenance Technician to support daily care of our communities. The role involves routine maintenance, make-ready units, pool care, and safety compliance.

You will respond to resident requests, inspect facilities, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: perform daily onsite maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders promptly.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for hazards and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend community life and reduce future repairs.
• Conduct swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager as needed.
• Report violations of community rules to Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed.
