Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for students and employees for issues including hardware and software, email, and various devices.
• Install, relocate, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software applications.
• Deploy computer images and create work orders when issues cannot be resolved.
• Perform light maintenance on printers and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To provide courteous and timely assistance for employees andstudents for the operation of faculty and staff workstations andcomputer labs on the Volunteer State Community Collegecampuses.

Job Duties:

Provide IT support for students and employees for various technicalissues including but not limited to minor hardware and softwareproblems, email, and install, relocate, maintain, upgrade,troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of networked andnon-networked client hardware devices and software applications.Deploy computer images. Create and elevate work orders for ITpersonnel when issue cannot be resolved. Perform light maintenanceon printers. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with Microsoft applications and strong familiarity withMicrosoft software.

Pay Rate:

$16.00 per hour
