Job summary

Scientific Drilling is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support HR activities across the U.S. operations from The Woodlands, TX. You will help with onboarding, background checks, terminations, UKG updates, and employee data management while maintaining confidentiality.

The role offers one flexible work-from-home day per week and onsite work at the corporate headquarters. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in HR administration, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 2–3 years HR administrative or related experience preferred.
• Experience working with HR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding with background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Process hires and terminations across HR systems.
• Handle employee data updates in UKG and payroll-related tasks.
• Conduct new-hire orientations and assist onboarding.
• Maintain confidential employee records with accuracy.
• Assist with HR initiatives and communications.
