Job summary

The Salvation Army Intermountain Div in Denver is seeking a Case Manager for temporary housing (shelter) services. This role provides professional-level housing-focused case management to individuals and families experiencing housing instability.

Responsibilities include assessments, housing plan development, housing search, landlord negotiations, and connecting clients to support services. Some evenings or weekends may be required, and travel to sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills: ability to communicate with clients, landlords and colleagues.
• Problem solving: assess complex situations and develop housing solutions.
• Case management: intake, assessment, goal setting and documentation.
• Computer proficiency: familiarity with client data systems.
• Self-Direction: work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing-focused case management for shelter guests.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized housing plans.
• Assist with housing search, landlord negotiations, and tenancy support.
• Maintain client records and HMIS documentation.
• Coordinate with community resources for supports and financial assistance.
