Hearst Corporation's Delish and House Beautiful brands seek a Temporary Editorial Assistant to support editorial and operational functions. You will help manage calendars, inboxes, pitches, contracts, and production tasks while contributing to digital stories and print workflows.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with four days per week in the New York office, and a chance to work across two iconic brands with a readership in the millions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of journalism/editorial or project management experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Sheets; familiarity with Asana is a plus.
• Portfolio or writing samples encouraged.
• Role based in New York with hybrid schedule (4 days in office).

Responsabilités

• Manage the Editorial Director's calendar, travel arrangements, expenses, and meeting coordination.
• Maintain and organize the Delish and House Beautiful editorial inboxes, routing pitches and inquiries.
• Support editorial operations: contracts, invoices, production documents, copyrights, pitches, shoots, and data.
• Assist with outreach and coordination for influencer campaigns, events, panels, and brand initiatives.
• Pitch, research, and write digital stories and social video content.
• Contribute to print production by compiling Table of Contents and coordinating PDFs.
• Organize and maintain archives for editorial assets.
• Handle admin and day-to-day team support.
