ELLE, part of Hearst Magazines, is seeking an Assistant Accessories Editor in New York City. You will shape accessories coverage across print and digital, from trend research to shopping stories and editorial packages.

You will support photo shoots, manage budgets, and collaborate with PR, brands, stylists, photographers, and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines. This role requires four days per week in the NYC office and offers hybrid work and competitive benefits.

Formación

• 1+ years of editorial, fashion market, or accessories experience.
• Strong knowledge of the accessories market, including designers, brands, trends, and luxury/contemporary positioning.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong writing and editing skills with ability to develop clear, engaging product and editorial copy.
• Experience with sample management, fashion closet organization, and photo shoot support is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital publishing, commerce, and editorial storytelling is a plus.
• This role is based in the New York City office and requires working in the office four days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, reporting, and executing accessories content across print and digital editorial packages.
• Research trends, emerging designers, seasonal collections, and market developments across accessories categories.
• Support photo shoots by preparing accessories pulls and coordinating shipments.
• Manage budgets related to designer sample shipments and coordinate insurance coverage.
• Attend market appointments, previews, and brand events to gather information and identify editorial opportunities.
• Help produce shopping pages, market stories, trend roundups, and accessories-focused features, and contribute copy for various stories.
