Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years bakery production experience including pan breads, hearth breads, sweet breads, cake decorating, cookies, bars, and donuts.
• Knowledge of the efficient and safe use of food service equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret recipe information.
• Knowledge of standard weights and measures.
• ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assists with recipe and menu development and testing.
• Assists and guides student workers.
• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Prepares a variety of baked goods including yeast products.
