Job summary

UW-Stevens Point University Dining is seeking a Shift Lead for the Indulge Bakery to supervise 1–3 stations, train student staff, manage service flow, and ensure food safety with weekend shifts.

Applicants must be a part-time student enrolled in credit hours, able to lift 40–60 lb, demonstrate leadership and communication, and complete mandatory trainings and a background check. Base wage is $13.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
• Leadership abilities, good interpersonal skills, strong oral communications and active listening.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen utensils and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train student staff for 1–3 stations and unit operations.
• Ensure proper staffing and smooth service, with weekend shifts required.
• Set up service area, stock food, and maintain sanitation and safety.
• Report hazards and coordinate with management for repairs.
• Complete mandatory trainings before first shift and attend staff meetings.
