Job summary

UW-Stevens Point University Dining seeks a Production Associate - Bakery to support campus food service. You will assist with food prep, learn kitchen safety, and help ensure enough items are ready for service locations including bakery and dining halls.

The role is for student employees; weekend shifts are required, and a base wage of $13.00/hour applies. Training and compliance requirements are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
• Basic knowledge of using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and up to 60 lb when stocking.
• Be a part-time student in good academic standing.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Complete UWSP mandatory trainings before first shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with preparation of food items for service.
• Learn to safely use kitchen equipment.
• Ensure adequate food quantities for uninterrupted service.
• Maintain sanitation in storeroom and prep areas according to standards.
• Report hazards and attend mandatory staff meetings.
• Complete University Dining orientation and trainings before first shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
