The State of Wyoming is seeking a temporary full-time WYDOT Field Operations Equipment assistant to support mechanics with maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles in Torrington or Wheatland, WY.
The role involves reading manuals, fabricating parts, managing shop inventory, and creating repair orders to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Under direct supervision, assist WYDOT Mechanics in performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks with automotive equipment on heavy-duty vehicles, including diesel and gasoline engine overhauls and tune-ups, brakes, steering, transmission, or hydraulic repair. This position can be located in Torrington or Wheatland, WY. Only one position is available. This is a temporary full-time position.
