Job summary

Lusona Consultancy (Financial) Limited is seeking a hands-on Temporary Accounts Assistant to cover 6–8 weeks, based in Glenrothes. You will support a busy finance team across purchase ledger, cash posting, credit control and general administration.

The role requires experience with Sage Line 50, strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will work in a small team, handling invoices, postings and filing with accuracy during the short-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounts experience in a general accounts role.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Processing and matching invoices against GRNs
• Processing invoices and transactions using Sage Line 50
• Posting cash and income receipts
• Processing journals and supporting the Management Accountant
• Maintaining accurate filing and financial records
• Assisting with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
• Providing general accounts and administration support to the finance team
