Job summary

Havel, a leading provider of building automation solutions, seeks a Temperature Controls Sales Estimator to quote add-ons, upgrades and installations for General Growth Properties with innovative solutions and timely quotations.

The role requires 3+ years in sales and estimation in temperature controls, HVAC, or electrical construction, plus strong communication, travel readiness, and the ability to manage costs and margins.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and estimation experience in temperature controls, HVAC, electrical systems, or construction.
• Excellent communication and persuasive sales abilities.
• Willing to travel regularly.
• Self-motivated, highly organized and proactive.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to extend hours/weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Annually quote, book and achieve gross margins goals.
• Accurately estimate the lowest cost to stay competitive.
• Control total cost to ensure division profitability.

Havel is looking for a Temperature Controls Sales Estimator to be responsible for selling building automation system add-ons, upgrades, and installations to General Growth Properties by providing innovative solutions, timely quotations and accurate estimates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Annually quote, book and achieve gross margins goals.
• Accurately estimate the true lowest cost to provide the organization the opportunity to be as competitive as possible.
• Properly control total cost so that the Division operates profitably.
• Maintain monthly planning calendar to provide a means of tracking projects.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and estimation capabilities, preferrably in the temperature controls, electrical systems, HVAC, or construction industry.
• Must have excellent people and communication skills and have the ability to persuade and close sales.
• Willing to travel on a regular basis
• Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required

Compensation Range

$80,000 - 95,000 annual salary

Other Compensation

Eligible for a company vehicle or supplemental vehicle allowance for work-related travel. Eligible for profit-sharing bonus.
